THE BRIEF
A pre-war bank built in 1925 for Brown Brother and Co, turned modern and timeless luxury rental. The Design High stepped in to transform the new residential amenity space on Wall Street. The space features a sensational double height great room which was resurrected into the now amenity space. Social lounge, business center, library, and game room which leads into the hidden gem, a resident only speakeasy. Use of velvet, blues, and brass emphasize an opulent ambience. The main attraction of any speakeasy, the bar, was custom made by Copperwood Designs. The Design High’s vision for the custom banquettes and lounge chairs was executed by Artistic Frames. The preservation of original wood paneling and the addition of Victorian oil paintings in their timepiece frames help to reinforce the vibe. The Design High weaved the traditional speakeasy character with twists of modern and hints of moody romance making the speakeasy at 63 Wall Street an eclectic treat for the building residents.
